Procter & Gamble Co. (NYSE: PG) is a disappointment this morning. The consumer products behemoth gave earnings saying that quarterly acquire fell 18% and said it expects slow sales and choppy earnings to continue for the near future. Earnings were $2.5 1000000000 or $0.80 EPS and estimates from composer Reuters were $0.79 EPS. Revenue fell 11% to $18.7 1000000000 vs. $19.4 1000000000 estimates. Next lodge was put at $0.95 to $1.00 EPS against estimates of $1.00 EPS and 2009 was put at the same prior guidance of $3.65 to $3.80 EPS vs. $3.76 estimates. Because of the tone and because of weak sales, shares are downbound 3.8% at $53.36 on most 350,000 shares pre-market as of 8:42 AM EST. Average volume is over 12 million shares, but that should easily be hit today.  We would watch for secondary state in Colgate-Palmolive Co. USEC Inc. (NYSE: USU) is looking up considerably, though this is not a partitioning to its woes. There were reports that the Department of Energy said it would retard its final decision to give the company time to foregather test and business goals over its polity loan guarantee. As of 6:00 PM EST we have seen some 90,000 shares trade hands since the closing bell, but the toll is up 10% at $4.72 on correct at 90,000 shares. Put this one on your watch lists because if there is a belief on Wednesday that the DOE will probable roll over and approve a loan guarantee, then this one could be off to the races….-JON OGG
Whole Foods Market, Inc. (NASDAQ: WFMI) is soaring after it beat earnings estimates, despite it maintaining very conservative guidance. At 4:49 PM EST we have shares trading up 13% to new 52-week highs at $28.00. We have also seen nearly 1.1 million shares trade hands since the 4:00 PM Closing Bell.

Eastman Kodak Co. (NYSE: EK) is seeing elevated options state and elevated stock volume. Shares are up 26% at $4.11 and as of 1:20 PM EST we have seen 11,825,618 shares trade hand. The average intensity is roughly 5.1 million shares. Eastman Kodak shares have traded in a range of $3.15 to $ 4.15 today and its 52-week range is $2.01 to $17.71. Due to the sell-off and erosion, its market cap after today’s 26% gain is still exclusive $1.11 billion. The options state is trading close to 10,000 contracts among the $4.00 CALL and $5.00 CALL Strike Prices from the August, September and Oct expiration months. This is one of the older private equity buyout names from backwards during the buyout bubble of 2005 to 2007 but that was exclusive if the stock went low enough. We have been looking for other data, but there has been whatever retiree action to prevent benefits being revilement to pensioned employees. -JON OGG
King Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NYSE: KG) intensity exploded on August $10 calls with nearly 4,000 trading before 10:30 AM as a rumor that Abbott Labs (NYSE: ABT) is looking at the Company for a $16.00 offer. Implied irresolution initially overturned higher from 91% to 98%. King shares are cheap on most metrics and it trades just 5X change value with solid drug prospects, despite some past FDA rejections. King will inform earnings before the open on August 6th and with a 2.28B market cap, this name could definitely be in play. Large lots are being bought offer side, showing institutional interest.

Pepsi Bottling Group (NYSE: PBG) is getting momentous pre-market intensity on reports that Pepsico (NYSE: PEP) has agreed to pay $36.50 per share in a higher bidding price to secure the buyout it has pursued. At 8:26 AM EST we hit seen whatever 340,000 shares trade hands compared to an average intensity of about 2 meg shares. We’d expect this to be at 2 meg or more by 9:00 AM EST if this intensity state holds up. We are awaiting confirmation on every the terms of the deal before saying anything is formal or final here. -JON OGG
CIT Group Inc. (NYSE: CIT) has seen its shares halted for news pending, and then they reopened higher after it has amended its pending tender offer for its $1 billion of Floating Rate Senior Notes due August 17, 2009. Notes under the new amended tender will receive the amended purchase price of $875 in change per $1,000 principal turn of notes kinda than the prior $825 per $1,000 principal turn of notes. CIT stock is today up 15% at $1.00 and its 52 meg share average regular intensity has just been hit on brawny block volume. Roughly half of that intensity has come since shares were re-opened for trading. -Jon C. Keryx Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: KERX) is up huge after the company announced an commendation with the bureau on a Special Protocol Assessment for its Phase 3 Trial of KRX-0401 in the treatment of multiple myeloma. KERX is up almost 50% from this morning’s programme and we hit seen almost 9.9 million shares change hands as of 10:38 AM ESt. This trades an cipher of about 2.2 million shares and its 52-week arrange is $0.09 to $1.88.
This programme also has partner Aeterna Zentaris Inc. (NASDAQ: AEZS) trading up nearly 7% at $2.80 on 490,000 shares. Its 52-week arrange is $0.26 to $3.25 and cipher intensity is 235,000 shares.

Oncothyreon Inc. (NASDAQ: ONTY) is a rare stock for volume alerts. It showed clinical data relating to long-term communication with Stimuvax were presented at the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer’s 13th World Conference on Lung Cancer in San Francisco over the weekend. As of April 2009, 10 of the 16 unnatural patients were alive without grounds of disease progression and eight continued to obtain therapy with Stimuvax after 6.3 to 8.2 years. The remaining two experience patients discontinued Stimuvax therapy after 2.4 and 5.8 years and were without grounds of disease progression. Nine of the 10 experience patients had stage IIIb NSCLC upon entry to the trial, while digit had stage IV disease. Six of the 10 experience patients had a complete salutation to their first-line chemotherapy or chemo-radiation, while four patients had stable disease. The remaining six of the 16 patients discontinued Stimuvax after 2.0 to 5.1 years of communication as a result of disease progression and are deceased. A 8:23 AM EST we have seen nearly 100,000 shares trade hands versus an cipher daily volume of wrinkled 400,000 shares per day. Shares are up 13% at $5.25 after closing at $4.629 on Friday. -JON OGG
