We just saw a price and volume spike in two Chinese companies as Dave Gentry of the RedChip Companies reports touted two names on CNBC in a mid-afternoon interview. Gentry touted Funtalk China Holdings Limited (NASDAQ: FTLK) as retailer and distributor of wireless communications devices, accessories, and content in China. He also touted L & L Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: LLEN) as a coal miner in China.
Funtalk China Holdings Limited (NASDAQ: FTLK) shares are now up 21% at $7.03 on 201,000 shares. The average volume is only about 20,000 shares and the 52-week range is $4.85 to $9.00.
L & L Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: LLEN) shares are up 3.5% at $10.00 on 430,000 shares. The average volume is 292,000 shares and the 52-week range is $0.55 to $10.60.
